Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Square One Publishers specializes in adult
nonfiction books. We look for interesting manuscript proposals that
have a fresh and/or different point of view by authors who truly
know their topic. Our books provide information that is designed
to meet the needs of specific audiences.
Currently, we are interested
in receiving manuscript proposals for the following categories:

When submitting your
manuscript proposal, please include the following items:
- A cover letter explaining the concept of
your book, why you wrote it, and its intended audience.
- A detailed table of contents.
- A brief overview of the book.
- Biographical information about you and any
coauthors or illustrators.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE).

Please do not fax manuscript proposals unless
specifically requested. Thank you.

along with our response, please include an appropriate-sized SASE
with adequate postage.
If you would like our response only, enclose
a self-addressed stamped business-sized envelope. Our average response
time to manuscript proposals is four to six weeks when the appropriate
return envelope is provided.
