Synopsis
Billions of dollars are being spent to find
a cure for AIDS. Yet there is little scientific consensus on how
AIDS originated or what causes it now. Without this consensus, it
is probable that a significant percentage of current AIDS research
funding is being wasted. Denied effective therapy, millions of people
worldwide continue to suffer and die from this disease.
Unraveling AIDS is a timely and well-researched
book that addresses a wide range of issues regarding this unfortunate
disease. What is the real extent of the AIDS pandemic? Do conventional
anti-HIV drugs work? Are there effective alternative treatments
that can be made widely available at affordable costs? This book
answers these questions and many more, introducing fresh perspectives
and unbiased information. Perhaps most important, Unraveling
AIDS explores alternative therapies that appear to be safer,
more effective, and less costly than the current generation of AIDS
pharmaceuticals.
